2025 - Current
As a locum tenens emergency physician, I work on short-term assignments at hospitals or healthcare systems that need additional emergency department coverage due to staffing shortages, physician leave, increased patient volume, or recruitment gaps. I evaluate and stabilize critically ill or injured patients, diagnosing and treating acute medical conditions. I am able to perform emergency procedures (e.g., intubation, central line placement, chest tube placement, procedural sedation). I coordinate care with specialists and inpatient teams. In addition, I can supervise residents, physician assistants, or nurse practitioners when applicable. I manage high-acuity and high-volume emergency department environments.
